Plasterboard can be fixed in place by two methods :
1) Using dry wall screws. Plasterboard is generally screwed to ceiling joists and stud walls.
2) Using dry wall adhesive, known as dot & dab or the direct bond method. Dot & dab, is normally used when bonding directly to bare bricks, it’s faster than using dry wall screws, improves insulation and allows you to achieve a flatter surface on which to plaster.
